Learn to Shoot

Our Learn to Shoot Program is a comprehensive shooting program that offers two levels depending on player ability. Middle school players will begin in our "Level 1" Shooters Program. After the 2nd week of the program, coaches will move the more advanced level shooters to the "Sharp Shooters" class.  The sessions will be led by Kevin Barboza (1,400 collegiate point scorer) and Colin Halpin (1,300 collegiate point scorer.)

Level 1 Shooters (middle school): This class is designed to teach players how to shoot using proper form and mechanics. Coaches will use the B.E.E.F technique as a foundation of teaching along with proper footwork. Once players have mastered this technique, coaches will add more challenging drills and shooting games. Players will be able to advance to the Sharp Shooters section.

Level 2 Sharp Shooters (high school): The Sharp Shooters program is designed to teach players more advanced moves. Coaches will reinforce proper shooting mechanics and more difficult skills: quick release drills, moves off the dribble, contestet shots, etc. Each player will shoot a minimum of 250 shots per two-hour class!!
